BIO
Alexis Callahan (born 1973) is a landscape photographer originally from the northwest corner of Indiana, now based in southeast New Mexico. She is currently completing her Master of Arts at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
She holds a Bachelor of Art with a concentration in film photography and ceramics from Indiana University Northwest and an Associates in Information Technology from Commonwealth Business College. In 2018 Alexis went back to work on her Bachelor of Fine Art in Digital Photography from Arizona State University. In addition to photography, Alexis has worked in mixed media with artworks shown in several trash-to-treasure/recycle exhibits. Her photography is reflective of and inspired by nature. Her current work is bringing attention to the old and abandoned buildings in Roswell New Mexico, where she lives.
