Even though the weather was chilly and the winds were high, the balloonists were at least able to set up their balloons on day 2 enough to be seen in all their beauty. It was a rough weekend with clouds, cold and high winds. They were unable to do any mass ascensions. But I was able to see the "statics", which is what is seen here where the balloons are inflated with the heat from gas, but there is no lift from the ground. Such a beautiful sight to see up close!
